For this reason, you float 2 times more than in fresh water. One of the main activities on the banks of Lac Retba is the collection of salt that is piled up in spectacular heaps. Not only the narrow streets are made of shells, but also the houses are built with mud and shells. The island is inhabited by many Christian families (about 90% of the population) of "Sérère" ethnicity. In the afternoon transfer to the Sine Saloum Islands and accommodation in a camp.
